Privacy Policy
This site shows my photographs. It collects very little, and this page says what, why, and how to have it deleted.
Visiting the site
The company that hosts the site keeps a short record of each visit: the address of your device, your browser, the page, and the time. That keeps the site running and protects it from misuse.
The site also uses an analytics service to show me which pages are looked at, how people found the site, the kind of device and browser, and a rough location. It sets cookies to tell one visit from the next. You can block or clear cookies in your browser’s settings, and the site works the same without them.
Writing to me
If you send a message on Connect, I get your name, your email address, and what you wrote. It’s emailed to me and saved so it doesn’t get lost. You get one short email back saying it arrived. I use your address only to reply to you.
The form runs a spam check from a third-party service. It looks at how the page is used to tell a person from a script, under that service’s own privacy policy, and its notice shows on the page.
What I don’t do
I don’t sell anything about you, and nothing here is used for advertising. The services that run parts of the site handle only what their part needs, under their own privacy policies, and may do it in the United States or elsewhere. I’ll share information only if the law requires it.
How long it’s kept
Messages are kept as long as they’re useful to the conversation. Analytics and the host’s records are kept for those services’ set periods.
Seeing it or deleting it
To see what I have from you, or to have it deleted, tell me on Connect or on Instagram at @ade_arris.
Other things
Every page is sent over an encrypted connection. The site isn’t meant for children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect anything from them. Links to Instagram and other sites lead to their own privacy policies. If this page changes, the date below changes with it.
